The Southwestern Athletic Conference will host its annual Football Media Day on Tuesday, July 25 at 10:00 a.m. CST at the Sheraton-Birmingham in Birmingham, Alabama.
All 12 SWAC head football coaches and two student-athletes from each team will be in attendance to address the media regarding the upcoming 2023 football season.
The league will also announce the 2023 SWAC football preseason teams and the predicted order of finish at the event.
There will be five new head coaches at media day this year. They include Alonzo Hampton at Arkansas-Pine Bluff, Kendrick Wade at Mississippi Valley State, T.C. Taylor at Jackson State, and Raymond Woodie at Bethune-Cookman.
A complete list of football players slated to attend will be released later.
