One of the best defensive players in the country is headed to the Senior Bowl.
Isaiah Land, the 2021 Buck Buchanan Award winner, accepted an invitation to participate in the Reese’s Senior Bowl on Wednesday.
The longest continual-running all-star game has taken place in Mobile, Alabama the past 73 years. More than 900 NFL personnel, including key decision-makers from all 32 teams will be at the event that takes place on Feb. 5, 2023.

After missing the first game of the regular season against North Carolina as part of a group of Florida A&M players held out because of compliance issues, Land has put together a solid year for the Rattlers.
The senior linebacker has recorded six sacks and 18 tackles through nine games this year.
Said Senior Bowl Executive Director Jim Nagy in a tweet about Land:
“No FCS defensive player was more disruptive last year than Isaiah Land, who led nation in TFL (25.5) and sacks (19.0). NFL scouts just want to see him add bulk and @seniorbowl thinks he has frame to do it.”
