Alabama A&M quarterback Aqeel Glass acquitted himself very well during the NFLPA Collegiate Bowl on Saturday at the Rose Bowl.

Playing for the American side, Glass led a six-play, 68-yard scoring drive that was capped by an 11-yard touchdown strike to Nicholls State wide receiver Dai’Jean Dixon.

Glass, a two-time SWAC and HBCU Offensive Player of the Year, went 9 of 11 for 141 yards playing among the best talent across the Division I spectrum.

In 46 career games, Glass finished in the top 15 in FCS career passing yards (12,136) and tied for 11th in career passing touchdowns (109).

He led the SWAC in passing in each of his last three full seasons (excluding 2021 spring season). He was selected to the All-SWAC Second Team in 2018 and 2019 and the All-SWAC First Team in the 2021 spring and fall seasons.

The performance is sure to keep Glass on the NFL radar as the draft approaches in a few months.
