Jackson State head coach Deion Sanders is bringing immense NFL star power to his first football satellite camp.
The camp, long made popular by college coaches, will be held June 19 in Jackson. The event is open to SEC and Ohio Valley Conference coaches in addition to the SWAC, MEAC and CIAA coaches.
Among the list of former and current NFL players who will serve as instructors is lengthy and impressive.
They include Pro Football Hall of Famer Terrell Owens and Super Bowl champions Antoine Bethea and Nate Newton. Current NFL players scheduled to appear at the camp are De’Angelo Hall, Tyrann Mathieu, Kareem Jackson, Marcus Peters and Demario Davis.

There are expected to be several hundred youth football players at the one-day event to be held at Mississippi Veterans Memorial Coliseum.
