Former professional basketball players turned HBCU head coaches will headline a national roundtable discussion centered on Black colleges.

NBA TV’s critically-acclaimed roundtable discussion show Open Court will feature Texas Southern coach Cynthia Cooper, Alabama State coach Mo Williams, Mississippi Valley State coach Lindsey Hunter and Howard University Coach Kenny Blakeney.

The hour-long show will focus on the resurgence of elite Black high school student-athletes seeking an HBCU education, along with the crucial roles HBCU coaches play in helping their players navigate through the pandemic and the country’s current social landscape.

In July, Howard made headlines when the men’s basketball program was able to land a commitment from five-star recruit Makur Maker.
