Florida A&M dropped its much-anticipated 2021 football schedule just before the clock struck midnight on 2020 and it includes several games that are certainly cause for pomp and circumstance.
The Rattlers will kick off its regular season with a bang The Orange Blossom Classic versus Jackson State in Miami, Fla. on Sept. 5.
FAMU’s first home game will be the following week against Fort Valley State on Sept. 11
After a non-conference game versus South Florida to conclude the month, the Rattlers get into the bulk of its first-ever SWAC slate with contests against Alabama State (Oct.2), South Carolina State (Oct. 10), Alabama A&M (Oct. 16) and Mississippi Valley State (Oct. 16) before a big-time homecoming matchup with Grambling State the day before Halloween.

November then brings along Southern, Arkansas Pine Bluff and longtime in-state rival Bethune Cookman for The Florida Classic.
The release of the schedule comes a month after FAMU announced it would postpone spring football due to COVID-19 concerns.
