With each passing day, signs continue to point toward Deion Sanders becoming head coach at Jackson State.
Late Saturday, Sanders — on his Instagram page — posted story images of him meeting with who appears to be Jackson State officials, including Athletic Director Ashley Robinson and school President Thomas Hudson at what appears to be Sanders’ home. The images included the caption ‘”I Believe.”‘
HBCU Sports first reported JSU will commit to Sanders as the school’s fourth head football coach since 2014.
An announcement, sources indicated, is scheduled to be made during a Monday press conference in Jackson.
Though school officials have publicly denied reports that a decision has already been made, the posts on Sanders’ personal social media account paint a vastly different picture.
Sanders, 56, who recently agreed to a deal with Barstool Sports, is currently an offensive coordinator at Trinity Christian in Cedar Hill, Texas.
