The Howard University basketball program made national headlines when five-star recruit Makur Maker committed to the program over powerhouse programs such as Kentucky, Duke, and UCLA.
It now appears that the Bison football program could be making some noise as well.
Five-star defensive end Korey Forman of Corona (Calif.) Centennial High School has Howard on his final list of seven schools.
The other schools include Southern California, LSU, Alabama, Oregon, Clemson, and Georgia.
“I am a young black man that is happy and proud of my race,” Forman said in his tweet. “The Black Lives Matter movement is and forever will be powerful and definitely never forgotten. These are the schools I will now be focusing on the most. Set the standard and .. be different.”
According to 247Sports, Foreman, a 6-foot-4, 235-pound defensive end, is projected to commit to USC and is ranked the No. 2 overall prospect in the 2021 class.
