HBCU Sports Editor and Publisher Kenn Rashad discusses Alcorn State’s recently released 2020 football schedule and the SWAC’s overall strategy in scheduling games against nonconference opponents.

Alcorn State’s 2020 nonconference schedule features three games against opponents who aren’t members of the NCAA’s Football Championship Subdivision (FCS). The opponents are Auburn, Fort Valley State, and Virginia-Lynchburg.

Rashad also compares the SWAC’s scheduling strategy to that of the MEAC and the outcomes that have resulted from them.
