Because extreme weather conditions can have an adverse impact on those who attend football games this time of year, it’s in the best interest of everyone to take precautionary measures to overcome those conditions.

Several marching bands took such steps to beat the heat this past weekend (Week 2) by dressing down to thrive in the conditions; however, those bands didn’t cut corners with their halftime shows when performing for those who were in attendance.

Here are the top five halftime shows from Week 2.

Performed at TDECU Stadium, Houston, Texas

4. Texas Southern (vs. Incarnate Word)

3. Miles College (vs. Fort Valley State)
Performed at Wildcat Stadium, Fort Valley, Georgia

2. Alabama State (vs. Tuskegee)
