The Kentucky State University director of athletics will serve on the Division II Athletics Directors Association (D2 ADA) board of directors.

Etienne Thomas will begin serving on the board beginning in July. Thomas was hired at Kentucky State in July 2018. Before her arrival at Kentucky State, Thomas served as the associate athletic director of student life at the University of Kansas.

D2 ADA provides a collective voice for NCAA Division II athletic directors, a forum to discuss issues that impact the role of Division II athletic directors and a recognized relationship with other athletic director associations and NCAA leadership groups.

The D2 ADA is administered by the National Association of Collegiate Directors of Athletics (NACDA), which is in its 53rd year.
