Florida A&M released its 2019 football schedule on Friday.

The 11-game schedule features three nonconference opponents that include an FBS opponent, a Division II opponent and the relaunch of a historic rivalry.

Aug. 29 is the opening date when the Rattlers travel to Orlando, Fla to face the University of Central Florida.

The Rattlers will begin a two-game homestand when they host Fort Valley State on Sept. 14 and Southern University on Sept 21.

Conference play will begin on the road at Norfolk State (Sept. 28) before FAMU faces North Carolina Central for Homecoming on Oct. 5.

South Carolina State will host the Rattlers on Oct. 12 followed by an Oct. 19 matchup at home against North Carolina A&T.

The remaining four games include a trip to Baltimore to face Morgan State (Oct 26), two games at home against Delaware State (Nov. 2) and Howard (Nov. 16) and the season finale against Bethune-Cookman (Nov. 23) in the annual Florida Classic in Orlando.
