Mo’ne Davis, who burst on the scene a star pitcher in the Little League World Series, reportedly announced she will play softball at Hampton next fall.

Davis, a three-sport athlete, was the first female pitcher in history to win a game at the Little League World Series for Philadelphia area Taney youth baseball league in 2014, picked Hampton over Bethune-Cookman, Southern University, Coppin State, Massachusetts and the University of Pennsylvania, according to the Philadelphia Tribune.

Davis’s athletic exploits have been documented nationally in Sports Illustrated and on ESPN, among others.
