Alcorn State QB Noah Johnson

In his first full season as a starter, Johnson has thrown for 2,079 yards and 15 touchdowns while also rushing for 960 yards and nine TDs.

Alcorn State RB De’Shawn Waller

The 210-pound junior rushed for 1,048 yards and 12 TDs after winning the starting job midway through the regular season.

Alcorn State DL Sterling Shippy

The 6-1, 300-pound senior recorded 13 tackles for loss and eight sacks for a fierce defensive front that led the country with 51 sacks.

North Carolina A&T players to watch come kickoff …

North Carolina A&T QB Lamar Raynard

The senior is 34-2 as a starter during his Aggies career and threw for 1,607 yeards and 17 touchdowns this season. While his completion percentage wasn’t exactly the best, Raynard still was able to lead an offense that ranked fifth in the MEAC in passing at 182 yards per game.

North Carolina A&T RB Marquell Cartwright

Cartwright complied his second consective 1,000-yard season by gaining 1,002 yards on the ground during the regular season, including scoring seven touchdowns and averaging 91.1 yards per game.

North Carolina A&T OL Micah Shaw

Shaw was named the 2018 MEAC Offensive Lineman of the Year. It was the second season a member of the Aggies offensive line has won the award. Last season, former lineman Brandon Parker, who was taken in the 2018 NFL Draft by the Oakland Raiders, received the honor.
