The 2018 edition of the annual Florida Classic football game between Bethune-Cookman and Florida A&M had a lot more on the line than just the typical bragging rights.
In the case for FAMU, the Rattlers simply had to win in order to not only clinch at least a share of a MEAC championship but to earn a berth into the Celebration Bowl in Atlanta, Dec. 15.
However, the Wildcats dashed any hopes of that happening topping FAMU by a score of 33-19.
And then there was the halftime show.
The Marching Wildcats and the Marching 100 took a moment to take shots at each other in halftime performances that provided no scores or stats to determine a winner.
