ITTA BENA, MS – Mississippi Valley State University’s Athletic Department announced it has entered into a five-year partnership with Nike through BSN Sports. The agreement, which began October 1, 2018, is part of BSN SPORTS Collegiate Select program, which aims to make BSN SPORTS a one-stop provider for all collegiate athletic, intramural, club and staff apparel and equipment to all D1, DII, D3, NJCAA, and NAIA schools.

The agreement includes numerous incentives in the form of discounts and rewards along with incentives for on-field achievements and additional marketing and promotional opportunities.

“A great university gets better by partnering with other great institutions,” University president Dr. Jerryl Briggs said. “This is a very exciting time for the university and we are happy for this partnership with BSN and Nike. We’re looking forward to a very productive partnership.”

“We are excited to partner with the Mississippi Valley State University and NIKE in elevating the performance and impact of their athletics program. This strategic partnership provides the finest apparel and athletic products to the Delta Devils athletic teams and benefits each student-athlete representing the community on the athletic field or court,” said Todd Northrop – Vice President, Collegiate Select. “We are proud to be their partner and pleased that we can elevate the student-athlete experience. Additionally, we can’t wait to get to know all of the coaches, faculty & staff associated with this great program and work tirelessly to put time back into their day, so they can spend more time impacting lives on the field of play.”

BSN SPORTS Collegiate Select will partner with the company’s key vendors to provide apparel and equipment to colleges and universities across the country.

“Nike is a brand known around the world,” Ford-Kee said. “This partnership places MVSU athletes and athletic staff in Nike gear from head to toe not only for competition but practice as well. We are excited to partner with a full-service vendor for all of our apparel, footwear and equipment needs.”
