The North Carolina A&T brand is on a roll.

In addition to being the nation’s largest HBCU, “Aggie Pride” has been dominating on the gridiron in more ways than one.

Not only did the football program finish the 2017 season with a Celebration Bowl championship, but it managed to complete the season unblemished with a 12-0 record.

And then there is the Blue and Gold Marching Machine.

The band was voted HBCU Sports Band of the Year for 2017 and begins the 2018 season in the No. 1 spot.

HBCU Sports presents its 4th annual preseason top 15 band poll for 2018.

3. Southern
4. Miles College
5. Tennessee State
6. Bethune-Cookman
7. Prairie View A&M
8. Norfolk State
9. Alabama A&M
10. Florida A&M
11. Texas Southern
12. Alcorn State

    Why isn’t South Carolina State University Marching Band is not included on this list???? The Marching 101 for many years has been voted one of the best marching band in the HCBU and has won numerous awards please explain.

      The 101 isn’t mentioned because North Carolina A&T marched them out of their own stadium last season.

    Just stop please. This list is trash. Y’all stay over hyping the wrong bands while selling the hardest working programs short. My suggestion to you is ask a group of true band heads who actually watch and analyze these bands before making these posts because it’s an insult to a lot of schools each time one of these comes out
