Grambling State returns 14 starters from last season’s Southwestern Athletic Conference (SWAC) Championship season, but with the addition of a promising recruiting class, a handful of transfers and returning players with significant playing time from last season, the Tigers enter the season hungry and with a lot of momentum.
Grambling State will continue its fall camp with practices Sunday, Monday and Tuesday, before taking Wednesday off. The final scrimmage of the preseason camp is set for 8:30 p.m.
The Tigers will conclude the fall camp with Media Day on Aug. 18 and continue their preparation for Saturday, Sept. 1 when Grambling State visits Lafayette, La. to take on Louisiana.
