The 2018 edition of the Honda Battle of the Bands hosted a crowd reported being well over 62,000 spectators.
Held Saturday at the brand new Mercedes Benz Stadium in Atlanta, the event featured eight HBCU marching bands including Alabama A&M, Alabama State, Bethune-Cookman, Hampton, Miles College, North Carolina A&T, Prairie View A&M, and Tennessee State.
As is usually the case with exhibitions such as this one, there is no publically announced winner. But it doesn’t mean we can’t have fun in trying to pick one.
We’ve got video of the performances. Take a look at the shows below and then participate in our poll. The poll will close Thursday (Feb. 1) at 11:59 p.m.

What a wonderful event that you have shared with those who were not there. The bands were very good, but A&T out shine them all.
NC A&T was the best band in the Benz. Many of the bands performed well and deserve their props. I think Hampton, lead by the Mistro Dr. Thomas L. Jones did a fine job for such a small band but come on now it wasn’t the best band at the Honda.
I am a Thomas L. Jones fan and I am sure his leadership and innovative drive will make the Hampton Force a force in the HBCU band world soon… But not yet.
