The top five teams from the previous week all won and remained in the same spot in this week’s BOXTOROW Coaches and Media Polls.

As it has all season in the coaches poll, the North Carolina A&T received a majority of the first place votes, receiving all expect one which went to No. 2 Grambling, the defending BOXTOROW national champions. A significant drop in the poll was made by Howard who fell to No. 3 North Carolina Central 13-7 in Washington, DC.

There were very similar results in the media poll as the top seven teams won and all remained the same. Albany State has won two-straight games – defeating Lincoln (MO) 30-10 Saturday – and reenters the poll at No. 9, tied with Howard who dropped one spot.

The BOXTOROW HBCU FCS coaches poll and the media poll are administered by FROM THE PRESS BOX TO PRESS ROW.  The coaches poll is voted on by the HBCU Football Championship Subdivision coaches and the media poll is voted on by media members around the country who cover HBCU football.
