North Carolina A&T jumped one spot in the FCS Coaches Poll on Monday after 56-0 win over Mars Hill.
The Aggies are No. 20 in the coaches poll after being No. 21 last week.
Tennessee State, after a 17-15 win over Jackson State in the Southern Heritage Classic, remains at No. 24 in the poll. The Tigers are scheduled to play Florida A&M Saturday in the Tampa Classic even after Hurricane Irma departs the Florida coast.
Grambling State (1-1) is at No. 25 in the poll after its win over Northwestern State, down two spots from No. 23 at the release of the first poll.
The defending SWAC and Black College National Champions will start conference play on Saturday versus Jackson State
Jackson State (0-2), Howard (1-1), Prairie View, (0-1) and North Carolina Central (1-1) also received votes in the poll.
