This week’s list of nominees for HBCU Sports Band of the Week is composed of four bands. The nominees are Bethune-Cookman, Kentucky State, Miles College and Southern University.
Bethune-Cookman, after winning the head-to-head poll we launched Monday over North Carolina A&T, will be considered for halftime show performed last Saturday in Dayton Beach, Fla.
Kentucky State and Miles College were both selected for their halftime performances against each other last weekend in Frankford, Ky.
Southern is a nominee after winning a in a head-to-head poll over rival Jackson State for it’s performance Saturday in Jackson Miss.
Voting will begin Thursday morning and will run through Friday night at 11:59 p.m.
