Here’s why Albany State should bounce back versus Savannah State

Saturday’s Battle for the Crown battle of the bands event, held in Greenville, S.C. might have been an exhibition for those in attendance with no official winner, but participants in our poll published Sunday believe otherwise.

According to the HBCU Sports band poll “Which band won the Battle for the Crown BOTB?” over 66 percent of the respondents voted for Savannah State.

Alabama State finished second in the poll with 17 percent of the votes, followed by South Carolina State (12.01 percent) and North Carolina A&T (3.93 percent).
