Bowie State To Begin Preaseason Football Camp Friday

BOWIE, Md. – Bowie State University will hold its first football practice of the 2016 season on Friday, August 12th at 6:30 pm on campus in Bulldogs Stadium.

The defending CIAA Northern Division champion Bulldogs return 50 players from last season’s (9-3 / 7-0 CIAA) team. The returnees, transfers and incoming freshmen report to campus on Thursday, Aug. 11th.

Bowie State kicks off the regular season (Saturday, Sept. 3rd) hosting Seton Hill College at 1 pm. [lasso align=”right” identifier=”B01E9MRC2S” locale=”US” tag=”hbcusports-20″ ref=”amzn-college-flags-and-banners-co-bowie-state-bulldogs-12-x-30-pennant” type=”single” id=”72066″ link_id=”4874″]

All practices are open to the media and public and subject to change. Below is a list of practice times through August.

Friday, August 12 – 7:30 pm (Helmets)

Saturday, August 13 – 2:00 pm (Helmets)

Sunday, August 14 – 2:00 pm (Shells)

Monday, August 15 – 6:30 pm (Shells)

Tuesday, August 16 – 6:30 pm (Shells)

Wednesday, August 17 – 9:00 am (Full Gear) and 6:30 pm (Shells)

Thursday, August 18 – 6:30 pm (Shells)

Friday, August 19 – 3:00 pm (Shells)

Saturday, August 20 – 2:30 pm (Full Gear)

Sunday, August 21 – 2:00 pm (MEDIA/PICTURE DAY – Leonidas S. James Complex* and Bulldogs Stadium)
*Site Subject to Change due to current HVAC Project

Monday, August 22 – 9:00 am (Full Gear) and 6:30 pm (Shells)

Tuesday, August 23 – 6:30 pm (Shells)

Wednesday, August 24 – 9:00 am (Full Gear) and 6:30 pm (Shells)

Thursday, August 25 – 6:30 pm (Shells)

Friday, August 26 – 4:00 pm

Saturday, August 27 – OFF

Sunday, August 28 – 2:30 pm (Shells)
