ATLANTA – The Southern Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (SIAC) and Varsity Software jointly announced the release of SIAC Sports, the conference’s new mobile app on Tuesday.
SIAC Sports is free to download and is available for Apple iOS and Android devices. This innovative mobile app will feature in-depth coverage of every SIAC school and every sport along with exclusive news, scores, standings, sport schedules, results, live game broadcasts, social media streams, and video highlights. The app also features interactive functionality for fans to upload videos, photos, and opportunities to redeem points for in-app purchases.
The SIAC is the third NCAA Division II conference to launch a mobile app.
“We’re thrilled to give our fans another opportunity to connect with our league through our mobile application,” Commissioner Greg Moore stated. “Varsity Software has done a great job implementing several unique features that continue to push the league’s progression in the digital and social media space by offering more SIAC content.”
