Who was the strongest team at home?

Who were the MEAC’s road warriors?

Those questions, and more, can be answered in our three-part series of wins and losses in Division I HBCU football.

This part includes the 11-team Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference.

We break down the individual team’s overall record, along with conference record, record at home, record on the road and neutral site games from the 2012, 2013, 2014 and 2015 seasons. Nonconference games are broken down by level of opponents:

  • “Power 5” Football Bowl Subdivision: members of ACC, Big 10, Big 12, Pacific 12 and Southeastern conferences
  • “Group of 5” Football Bowl Subdivision: members of American, Conference USA, Mid-American, Mountain West and Sun Belt conferences
  • Football Championship Subdivision: members of Big Sky, Big South, Colonial Athletic Association, Ivy League, Missouri Valley, Northeast, Ohio Valley, Patriot League, Pioneer League, Southern, Southwestern Athletic and Southland conferences
  • Division 2 and below: opponents playing in Division II, Division III, NAIA or United States Collegiate Athletic Association

Who was the strongest team at home? Who were the MEAC’s road warriors? Want to see who tested themselves by playing up? Want to see who buffeted their records with Division 2 or lower teams in nonconference? Well, just keep reading and see for yourself.
