ATLANTA – Reginal Harris (Kentucky State) was named Offensive Player of the Week and teammate Brentton Ervin (Kentucky State) was selected as Defensive Player of the Week, announced by the Southern Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (SIAC) on Monday.
Amyr Smith (Morehouse) was voted Special Teams Player of the Week while Harris also earned the Newcomer of the Week honor.
OFFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK

Harris set a career high for the third straight game with 174 rushing yards and a touchdown in a 34-7 win over Stillman. Harris reached the total on 28 carries for an average of 6.2 yards a carry, and his touchdown came on a 57-yard run to help put the game away in the fourth quarter.
DEFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK

Ervin led a Kentucky State defense that held Stillman to just 119 total yards in a 34-7 win on Saturday. He tallied 11 total tackles, eight solo tackles, 5.5 tackles for loss, a sack, and a pass break-up.
SPECIAL TEAMS PLAYER OF THE WEEK

Smith accounted for 165 yards on four returned kicks. His 73-yard return, to the one-yard line, set up a fourth-quarter touchdown, in a come-from-behind win. He also returned a punt for nine yards.
