North Carolina A&T remained in second place following a 45-31 road win at Hampton. South Carolina State and Bethune-Cookman swapped positions from last week with Tennessee State completing the top five.

Alcorn State received all but one first-place vote in the coaches poll.

Bethune-Cookman who defeated North Carolina Central 28-26 on the road and Tennessee State both moved up a spot this week to No. 3 and No. 4, respectively, aided by South Carolina State’s 17-3 loss to Furman, which dropped the Bulldogs to No. 5.

Morgan State and Norfolk State both won on the road – the Bears defeating Delaware State 26-6 and the Spartans coming from behind to defeat Howard 15-12 – and moved into the top 10, MSU at No. 9 and NSU tied for No. 10 with North Carolina Central.

It’s amazing none of the polls have given GSU any respect this year as if they are a joke. Trust me they will dismantle everyone in the SWAC and BC when they meet again for the national championship. This team is no joke and no one else they play is of Cal quality so please stop judging them based on one lopsided lost because I promise you every coach they face will have the same response, I Don’t Know What Happen starting with your number (1) for now until next week Alcorn. And you had the ordacity to play us for your homecoming, stupid fools.

I’m still trying to figured out how you put a team that’s leading in their conference below the team they are ahead of.
