As we approach the first week of the college football season, and based on what we’ve witnessed in past years, there is always a game or two where David seems to get the best of Goliath.
We witnessed this last season when Bethune-Cookman defeated FBS member Florida International, 14-12, for a second consecutive year.
There are 12 HBCU FCS teams this week scheduled to play against FBS programs.
Here is the lineup:
Alabama A&M vs. Cincinnati
Alcorn State vs. Georgia Tech
Bethune-Cookman vs. Miami (Fla.)
Florida A&M vs. South Florida
Grambling vs. California
Howard vs. Appalachian State
Jackson State vs. Middle Tennessee St
Miss Valley State vs. New Mexico
Morgan State vs. Air Force
Norfolk State vs. Rutgers
Savannah State vs. Colorado State
Southern vs. Louisiana Tech
Can history repeat itself for a third straight year? Will we witness an FBS program fall to an HBCU? If so, which team has the best chance of accomplishing such a feat?
That is our question to you in this HBCU Sports poll. Take a moment to participate.
