Preseason polls were created to stir up a hornets nest of conversation, rage and exploitative civic pride that only can be expressed by where your alma mater is ranked in a poll a month before the season starts.
They make no sense. Sorta like all the 2016 GOP presidential candidates engaging in a God blessed interminable debate moderated by Satan’s spawn who masquerade as journalists at Fox News.
We know college football polls — like debates — are flawed, pernicious and ooze with bias because nobody knows what the heck they’re talking about.
HBCU Sports presents our inaugural preseason poll regardless.
