ATLANTA – In conjunction with its annual luncheon and summer meetings, the Southern Intercollegiate Athletic Conference will host its 2015 Football Media Day on July 20 at the Holiday Inn Montgomery Airport South in Montgomery, Alabama.

For consecutive years the leagues media day will return to Montgomery and again will be broadcasted live on the SIAC’s Digital Network. Head coaches and student-athletes will join the digital platforms via audio streams in conjunction with coverage on www.thesiac.com and the conference’s social media platforms (Facebook & Twitter: @thesiac).

Last year more than 200 attendees including members from regional media outlets attended the event. In addition, the SIAC will announce its football preseason teams and release details on the football championship game being played on Saturday, November 14 at the Cramton Bowl.

All head coaches and two student-athletes from each team are scheduled to attend. On hand will be Derrick Burroughs (Lane) who returns to the SIAC while James “Mike” White (Benedict) now leads the Tigers. First-year interim head coaches Dan Land (Albany State) and Willie Gary (Clark Atlanta) will make their first appearance at media day.

This year’s photo segment begins at 12 noon CT with the stage session hosted by Charles Ward is scheduled to start at 12:30 p.m. CT. The session will include Commissioner Moore’s address and head coaches season preview.

A more detailed schedule with information on head coaches and student-athlete interview times will be released at a later date.
