MEAC Coach of the Year LeVelle Moton, who led North Carolina Central to an historic season, has reportedly interviewed for the vacant Iowa State job, according to reports.

Moton led NCCU to a 28-6 overall record and 15-1 domination in the MEAC last season.

Moton is a candidate for the next Iowa State head coach after Fred Hoiberg was recently hired by the Chicago Bulls.

In six seasons at NCCU, Moton has boasted a 114-75 overall record, including a 56-8 MEAC tally.

Moton has led NCCU to three consecutive 20-win seasons and was named a coach for the USA Basketball.
