Howard will face defending MEAC champion Morgan State in the annual Chicago Football Classic this year, event officials announced.
“18th Annual Chicago Football Classic Welcomes the Bears of Morgan State University vs. the Bison of Howard University,” officials said in a statement on its Facebook page.
The game will be held Sept. 26 at Chicago’s Soldier Field.
The two schools were originally scheduled to play in the New York Urban League Classic at the Meadowlands but the game was cancelled this year.
