Five HBCU defensive linemen to watch during the 2023 season

During the Chicago Bulls 120-66 thrashing of the Milwaukee Bucks during Game 6 of their NBA playoff first-round series Thursday night, the official Twitter account of GQ Magazine decided to turn a SWAC school into a punchline.

Holy crap, the Bulls are winning by HOW much? Are they playing Prairie View?

— GQ Magazine (@GQMagazine) May 1, 2015

While it might have seemed like the Bulls were roughhousing a lowly mid-major, Prairie View’s men’s basketball team actually did not play a game during the 2014-15 season that was worse than the Bucks.

The Bucks 54-point loss was the third largest disparity in NBA playoff history.

Prairie View, which finished the season 15-18 overall and 12-6 in the SWAC, was clobbered 105-68 by Arkansas-Pine Bluff in January. The 37-point loss was obviously the team’s worst setback of the season, but nowhere near the embarrassing performance displayed by the Bucks in a postseason game.
