Kwashaun Quick, North Carolina A&T’s starting quarterback, was dismissed from the football team after he was reportedly arrested on drug charges, according to reports.
Quick, who did not play in the recent spring game, was arrested March 6 on maintaining a vehicle or residence with intent to manufacture, sell or deliver marijuana and possession of marijuana paraphernalia, the News & Record said.
Quick is no longer on the team or in school, the newspaper reported.
He was the Aggies second-leading rusher and passer last season, leading the team to a share of the MEAC championship last season. Quick gained 2,028 yards from scrimmage and scored 19 touchdowns.
