LORMAN, Miss. –Alcorn State will not bring back its men’s or women’s basketball coaches next season, the school announced Monday.

Head coaches Luther Riley and Tonya Edwards have contracts that will expire at the end of this month and will not be extended, the school said.

Alcorn will conduct national searches for both positions.

“Alcorn State University appreciates the contributions that coaches Riley and Edwards have made to our basketball programs,” the school said in a news release.
