After missing out on an NCAA Tournament at-large bid, North Carolina Central has been tabbed to play Miami in the National Invitational Tournament.
NCCU (25-7) will be a No. 7 seed taking on No. 2 Miami in the Richmond Quadrant of the NIT Tuesday at 7 p.m.
The Eagles won the MEAC regular season championship, finishing 16-0 before losing in the conference tournament to Delaware State.
