The field of 68 for the NCAA Tournament will not be officially determined until Sunday evening.
But that hasn’t stopped college basketball prognosticators from forecasting who will participate in the tournament.
As of Sunday morning, CBS Sports projects MEAC champion Hampton will face Northeast Conference champion Robert Morris as a No. 16 seed in the First Four in the Midwest Region.
CBS also has two-time SWAC champion Texas Southern as a No. 15 seed playing No. 2 seed Arizona of the Pac-12 in the West Region.
Joe Lunardi of ESPN has Texas Southern and Hampton in the First Four against Robert Morris and Manhattan respectively.
Fox Sports tabbed Texas Southern and Hampton to square off against each other in the First Four with the winner playing No. 1 overall seed Kentucky.
Selection Sunday should be interesting.
