Five Southwestern Athletic Conference football players are set to compete in the College Gridiron Showcase Saturday in Arlington, Texas.
Jackson State Cornerback Ryan Griffin, Grambling State Cornerback Tyree Hollins, Prairie View A&M Quarterback Jerry Lovelocke, Southern Defensive End Arthur Miley, and Texas Southern Cornerback Tray Walker are all vying for NFL roster spots on the campus of UT Arlington.
College Gridiron Showcase is an All Star football game for ALL College Football Divisions. Players have been evaluated and competed for six days by professional football league scouts. The players have received professional coaching, mentoring, life coaching and seminars that will benefit them as they move forward in their professional lives.
The practices and Saturday’s game will showcase the players to scouts and executives from top professional leagues such as the NFL, CFL and AFL.
