New Orleans, La. (GCAConf.com) – Amber Antoine of Edward Waters College has been named Gulf Coast Athletic Conference women’s basketball Player of the Week for games played from Dec. 1 through Dec. 7.
The 5-10 senior from Macclennt, Florida had a season-high 22 points and hauled in 9 rebounds as the Lady Tigers defeated Florida Memorial 67-63. Antoine is averaging a career-high 12.6 points per game this season and is in the GCAC top-ten in scoring, rebounding, and field goal percentage.
