Salisbury, NC- The 2014 Men’s Basketball CIAA Champions, under the direction of head coach James Stinson, return to the court on November 4, 2014. The Blue Bears began the 2014-2015 season against Duke University for the first time in Livingstone Men’s basketball history.

The exhibition game against the Duke Blue Devils takes place on November 4, in Durham, NC inside Cameron Indoor Stadium.

The Blue Bears come into the season ranked number 1 in the Southern Division for the predicted order of finish, picked by the CIAA Men’s Basketball Coaches Association.

The Blue Bears finished last season 21-8 overall and 11-5 in the conference.

Although, the Blue Bears lost some major players such as Mark Thomas, and Jody Hill, Head Coach James Stinson is relying heavily on key players such as Eric Mayo and Eric DuBose.

Senior Forward Eric Mayo (Shelby, NC) was names to the preseason All-CIAA Team. Eric averaged 9.9 points per game last season.

Junior Guard Eric DuBose (Brooklyn, NY) averaged 7.9 points per game last season for the Blue Bears.

Livingstone Blue Bears hosts 8 home games this season and 14 away.
