Alabama A&M tight end Jonathan Dorsey, who scored two touchdowns in 35-34 loss to Southern last Saturday, has been recognized for his efforts by College Football Performance Awards.

The 6-foot-6, 205-pound redshirt freshman, who had three catches for 67 yards, was named honorable mention as FCS Tight End Performer of the Week.

Dorsey has 165 yards and three touchdowns this season.

CFPA is in its seventh season of player and team performance recognition.
