According to the entertainment gossip site TMZ, Renner claimed on an Instagram account that San Francisco 49ers quarterback Colin Kaepernick will be the father of her soon-to-be born baby.

The website reported that Renner and Kaepernick were seen hanging out with each other as recently as July.

Shortly thereafter, she allegedly posted “preggers” on Instagram, which prompted an instant reaction across the web.

Renner, however, denied the rumors on Twitter.

Must be a slow news day…the media and their outrageous lies are absolutely pathetic SMH! Stop believing everything you read!!!

If you believe everything you read on the internet you are a complete moron — Brittany Renner (@rennerbrittany) October 2, 2014

Kaepernick, who leads the 2-2 49ers against the Kansas City Chiefs Sunday, responded to the allegation by posting the an album cover  of the song, “STOP LYIN” by Any Means.  He then added, “We just goin call this my anthem now!”

Keep trying is a featured rap song Kaepernick recorded months ago.

Renner’s possible rendezvous with Kaepernick wouldn’t be her first with a star quarterback.

Images of her and former Jackson State quarterback Casey Therriault have been plastered all over the Internet in recent years.

Renner, a one-time college athlete herself, starred for the Jackson State women’s soccer team, playing a big role on the Tigers’ 2010 SWAC championship team.
