Carolina Panthers kicker Graham Gano wanted to get a few practice tries in before the second half.
A Bethune-Cookman band member wanted to finish his halftime routine.
Right before the start of the third quarter, Gano walked onto the field in the middle of the B-CU marching band while they were still performing and pushed trombone player out of the way as he attempted a kick.
“I want to apologize to him,” he said after the game. “It’s just that is the only time we have to practice. But I never should have done that, and I feel bad about it.”
