Jackson State has a new defensive line coach, according to media reports and sources.
Footballscoop.com reported Monday that Leon Seals is expected to be hired as the team’s defensive line coach.
Seals, who coached at Jackson’s Calloway High School last year, is replacing Paul Spicer.
Spicer resigned from the position earlier this month citing family reasons.
In addition to his stint at Calloway, Seals was an All-SWAC performer at JSU and later played in the NFL for the Buffalo Bills.
