In anticipation of its annual 2014 Football Media Day to be held in Birmingham on Friday, the Southwestern Athletic Conference wasted no time in releasing a 60-second commercial on YouTube Thursday to promote the conference’s football championship game scheduled for Dec. 6 at NRG Stadium in Houston.
Last season’s game, played for the first time in Houston since it moved from Legend Field in Birmingham, saw a crowd of 38,985 featuring teams from Jackson State and Southern University.
The conference also posted a Vine video on Twitter while preparing for the event.
