It has been nearly four months since the Grambling State football team gained national attention after they staged a boycott in October over what the student-athletes called “horrible conditions” that hindered them on the field.
Among the many concerns the athletes expressed in a letter written to school administrators was the state of their weight room, which featured missing sections of its rubberized floor tiles, and broken and tattered weightlifting benches.
Today, the notorious weight room appears anything but dilapidated as seen here in recent photos posted on the team’s Twitter account.
