Rick Comegy is expected to be hired by Mississippi Valley State, multiple sources indicate.
Comegy was fired by Jackson State on Dec. 18 after the SWAC Championship game.
First reported by WJTV in Jackson, Miss., Comegy will replace Karl Morgan, who was let go after four years with the university.
Terms of the agreement have not been finalized, according to sources.
