JACKSON, Miss. – The Jackson State University football program will hold its annual Pro Day on Friday, March 8 at the JSU Practice Football Field. Ten former Tigers are set to work out for several NFL scouts and vie for a chance to play in the National Football League, beginning at 2 pm.
Participants this year include defensive lineman Johnathan Billups, defensive lineman Jamal Carter, defensive lineman Javarius Conner, defensive lineman Johnny Conner, linebacker/defensive end Joseph LeBeau, defensive lineman Luis McLeod, linebacker Milton Patterson, linebacker Chais Pinesett, offensive lineman Zion Pinesett and wide receiver Rico Richardson.
Pro day includes drill on the turf (shuttle run, 40-yard dash, etc.), as well as vertical and horizontal jumping and the bench press. Lifting exercises will take place in the JSU weight lifting facility.
