STANFORD, California – The Jackson State women’s volleyball team’s season came to an end Friday night in the opening round of the NCAA Volleyball Tournament regional. The Lady Tigers fell 3-0 to the No. 2 seeded Stanford Cardinal at the Maples Pavilion. JSU lost 25-1-, 25-17, 25-10.
With the loss JSU falls to a 24-12 record and Stanford improves to 25-3.
Christine Edwards and Mikayla Rolle each finished with a team-high five kills. Jenna Siddiqui had 17 assists and Kameron Boggan recorded seven digs.
Brittany Howard led Stanford with nine kills.
